Price and time trading involves using time to discover when price has reached its
peak or bottom and trading on those signals. How it works is not as easy as it
sounds. It involves detailed analysis and hours of study just to understand the basic
concepts of how price and time interact. They do not often present in a straight
forward manner and variability requires flexible thinking in order to realize it is not a
perfect system. However, continued study helps to uncover cycles and rhythms
within a stocks price movement. This leads to improved timing and less time wasted
in trades that are going nowhere. It helps you to develop discipline in your approach
to trading. It is much shorter duration then Ted Warren would have liked and he
would call it speculating: however, when you have defined rules that allow you to
choose wisely your entry and exit from trades along with an exit strategy when your
time analysis is incorrect, you become less a speculator and more of a calculator
because you have eliminated reckless behavior. It would take an entire book filled
with irritating concepts and mathematics to detail all the information used in our
strategy. When we send you a stock we outline in detail what we are anticipating and
why so you will have an understanding of why you are trading. We will have an
approximate price target as well as an exit strategy. It is not necessary to know all
the internal criteria to trade this way. There is no extra charge for this service. While
this is very effective in the 60%-80% range over a years time, you do need to realize
that not all trades will be winning trades but any losses will be cut short quickly
because when you are wrong on the time aspect of the trade it shows up rather
quickly. There will usually be no more than 10-12 trades in a year. There will be
some trades that will be held for longer periods of time due to time symmetry.
Although most trades include a time element not all do. Some are traded on
formation recognition. Overall, these are shorter term trades that seek to maximize
profit. Below is our current record of trading which started in April 2009.
